Texas Roadhouse, in Port Arthur, is being sued by an area resident who claims she slipped and fell at the restaurant due to a dangerous condition.

The suit was filed in Jefferson County District Court on February 28, 2011.

The accident happened in December 2009 when she slipped and fell while dining at the restaurant. According to the lawsuit, the incident transpired through no negligence on her behalf and that the establishment failed to remedy the unknown “dangerous condition.”

She further claims that Texas Roadhouse failed to warn customers of the danger and to take care of its floors.

The suit seeks past and future medical expenses, pain, impairment, mental anguish, all court costs and lost wages.

In January, the Houston Space Center was sued by a man that alleged he was injured when he slipped and fell on a wet floor.
