Rachael Ray Brand Teakettle Recalled Due To Burn Hazard

Comments Off

Rachael Ray brand Teakettles have been voluntarily recalled by Meyer Corporation because hot water can spill and spray from the kettle while being poured, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

To this date, there have been eight consumer complaints involving the recalled items. Four of complaints involved burn injuries.

The recall involves Rachael Ray brand two-quart teakettle. It is sold in blue #51622, green #51623, orange #51621 and yellow #51624, at a variety of department stores and online retailers. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) News Release includes photos for your reference.

Consumers are urged to stop using the recalled items. For more information, contact Meyer Corporation at (877) 782-8242 for a free replacement. Known consumers will be mailed instructions.

Submit your claim for a replacement teakettle by visiting www.meyer.com/rrteakettlerecall.
