Prime-Line Products Recalls Child Bathtub Non-Slip Pads & Safety Latches

Prime-Line Products Co., announced a voluntary recall of Bathtub non-slip pads because some pads fail to stick to the tub surface, posing a fall hazard.

The company has received one report of pad failure, to date. But no injuries have been reported.

The recalled items are whale-shaped, white, vinyl, non-slip bathtub pads with a textured surface and adhesive backing. They are intended to help prevent children from slipping and falling in the bathtub. The model number involved in this recall is S-4630 and SKU number is 049793846303.

Consumers are urged to discontinue using the recalled pads and to contact Prime-Line to receive a refund. For more information, contact the company directly by calling (855) 839-9555 or by visiting them online at www.prime-line-products.com.

Child Safety Latches and Outlet Covers Recalled

Prime-Line Products Co. also recalled child safety latches and outlet covers because they can loosen or break.

The company has received 4 reports of the screws breaking, but no injuries.

The recall involves child safety drawer and cabinet latches as well as outlet covers with rotating receptacle covers. They were sold under the brand name Child Safe.

The following items are included in the recall:

Drawer and cabinet latches – 3 per package- model number S 4439 with SKU 049793044396, and model number S 4444 with SKU 049793044440.

Outlet covers – 1 per package, in ivory, model number S 4447 with SKU 049793044471, and white, model number S 4461 with SKU 049793044617.
